Cosca Brown’s bucking Bull Ranch offered our bachelorette party a one of a kind experience! When I was told we were going to get bull riding lessons I had no idea what we were in for. We arrived at the ranch and were promptly greeted by Noel, Ed and Doug who all gave us a tour of the grounds and offered us their unique perspectives on bull riding and training bulls. It was obvious they love their bulls and they love to ride. After the tour all nine of us at the party got to try on chaps, vests and boots and hop on the back of a real bull!!! We were taught how to tie in and all about what a rider does while they prepare at the gates. Of course they didn’t release the bulls to buck but it was still awesome! Then we got to watch some cowboys demonstrate bull riding. I had never been so close to a bull bucking and it was an amazing experience. We got a bird’s eye view of the whole process and loved cheering the riders on. Then we all got to take a turn on the mechanical bull. I don’t think some of the girls had ever ridden one before and they still absolutely loved it! Once we were too tired to ride any more we ate a delicious ranch style lunch prepared by Jerry Brown. Even though he wouldn’t share his secret recipe with us he did share his mothers home made blue berry cobbler. At the end of the day we all walked away with an experience we will never forget! Thank you so much to everyone at Cosca Brown’s Bucking Bull Ranch for making our day so memorable.

All nine women were wonderful students and excited to learn how to ride a bull. We had a great time teaching them.
